Change Management – What we actually offer
Whatever the drivers for change that start the process - acquisition, competitive threat, technical change or others - we'll come alongside your management team and begin by taking stock of where you are now - probably by means of a management workshop facilitated by us.
This will beat out the shape of the assignment and allocate roles to different players within your organisation. A combination of techniques - probably involving Fishbone analysis - will be used at this stage to explore and articulate the high level vision. The insights of PRINCE 2 will also be used to ensure that this early thinking has a view to the project of programme that is likely to flow fom this work.
An assignment specification in the form of a PID (Project Initiation Document) will capture the aims and deliverables of the project at this stage, identify the key project players and confirm that all stakeholders within your organisation are aligned with the same objectives. |
The Research phase may involve different types of activity to collate and analyse the material you already have or to gather new material. Original research may be designed, commissioned and analysed or specialised statistical skills applied to your existing data sources. |
The Planning phase will engage more of your team in developing shared action programmes that are based on a firm understanding of the current realities and of the desired future state. The deliverable will be a detailed, timetabled programme of action that is captured in PRINCE format with a GANTT chart showing how they all fit together in time. |
The Motivation stage deliverables may be copy writing, event plans, or complete communication programmes depending on need but will be linked to the overall project plan, bound together by pragmatic use of the PRINCE methodology. |
